I do hope this blog will be somewhat more than lame, if I can help it. I am a student involved in a long term love/hate relationship with Boston University. I have learned many things in my short life but most of them are useless. I had cancer when I was ten and am subsequently still bitter about it. I am an English major, and, unfortunately, use an obscene amount of adverbs and will subject you to endlessly split infinitives.
My interests include, in no particular order: things that are new to me, contemporary poetry, music, evolution, books, trashy wedding shows, and things that make no sense. If I were an animal I would be a platypus, because they are maybe the least sensical and most practical animals in the world.
This is meant to chronicle things that happen, as they happen, for my friends who are abroad and beyond. Despite the fact that they are going to be doing bigger and better things than I will accomplish in my dirty northeastern city, it is important to me that they receive dispensable daily news from my life in the states. It is my main goal in life to accomplish something that lasts. I have no future plans.
